Parking attendants not only collect the parking fee they are the safety personnel, backed up by the Plymouth Police, keeping the parking lot as safe as possible. This includes backing up the safety of the life guards and therefore making sure that all are kept from danger as much as possible. This alone is worth the small fee. Please provide them with great respect and appreciation. They are there for everyone’s protection. You will find they are friendly and as courteous as they can be to everyone. I know most of them and they are great caring people. On hot busy days they will try to accommodate some needs of many people but understand that they are bound by the duty of safety and for the most part are required to stay at their posts that have been assigned to them so they are unable to cater to anyone. Pay attention to the handicap parking. One of the duties of the attendants is to ensure the handicap parking is reserved for those that have valid handicap registration clearly displayed in or on the vehicle. It is highly likely you will be towed or ticketed without the handicap registration.
